PRESENTER TRAINING
The in-house course generally runs for 10 weeks. It is designed for those who want to join our pool of on-air presenters or simply gain new skills in a stimulating and fun atmosphere.

TRAINING STRUCTURE Your course consists of a number of sessions:
What happens if I can’t complete the course? We don’t give refunds once you’ve received your training manual and have started the course. Therefore if you fail to show for any of the three scheduled sessions, or choose to leave the course early, you will not be able to claim a refund of your course fees. If your circumstances do change during the course and you can’t attend your arranged sessions, you can ask to be deferred to a future course and your payment will be credited to that course. We will aim to find days and times that fit your new circumstances. Also, if for whatever reason you don’t attend your compulsory Media Law session, you will not be able to apply for, or present, a radio program. A special Media Law session can be arranged for an additional fee, or alternatively you can wait until the next scheduled Media Law session which you may attend at no additional charge. ![]()
Statement of Attainment in Broadcasting Skills (pathway to CUA31015 Certificate III in Screen and Media)
The Community Media Training Organization (CMTO) offers a Statement of Attainment in Broadcasting Skills (pathway to CUA31015 Certificate III in Screen and Media) to community Media Volunteers. This training is supported through funding from the Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF). The CMTO are a Registered Training Organization (RTO ID: 91800) and the Statement of Attainment in Broadcasting Skills (pathway to CUA31015 Certificate III in Screen and Media) is a nationally recognized Qualification.
