TRACKS AND DETOURS: Friday 6 pm - 9 pm

“I was born in a crossfire hurricane, and I howled at my Ma in the driving rain...”.

Which is probably why she sold me to a band of wandering itinerant troubadours, who raised me on a steady diet of music both weird and wonderful.

The show 'Track and Detours' is about great music both old and new. Some of the tracks are well known, others are gems that have been hiding in the dark corners of musical history.

I also tell a few tales of the songs themselves, or the artists who gifted them to us. Tales of mystery and imagination -  some to make you laugh, and others, just may make you cry.

Hi Steve - I see you've changed the format a tad. Can I hear a bit of the album by Phill Manzanera called ' 801 Live '?

Thanks mate and keep up the really good program!!

Regards Kev
