GARDENING WITH PAUL: Saturday 7 am - 8 am
Paul Plant is a professional horticulturist, well known throughout in Australia and overseas as the Editor of 'subTropical Gardening' magazine. He has given gardening talks since the mid-90s and has become one of Queensland’s favourite gardening experts.
Paul has a degree in horticulture and has gained industry recognition as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Horticulture – there are less than 20 Fellows in Australia. He was the youngest person in Australia to be awarded a Fellow.
As a Registered Horticulturist, Paul does consultation on private and commercial gardens throughout south east Queensland and interstate. His horticultural expertise is much sought after. He has also been a tour guide to China.
After 8 years as a stand-in on Brisbane’s leading talk-back radio gardening program, Paul moved to the Noosa region in early 2013.
Paul brings with him decades of horticultural knowledge spanning both native and non-native plants, edibles and ornamentals and a bizarre mix of music that spans over 40 years.
