Mike mentioned that in the early days of Noosa Community Radio he was on the steering committee and later acted as tech manager where among other things he set up the studio, sourced and erected the antenna, and supplied equipment for the first transmissions. This was at the old yacht club on the Noosa river. You can read all about this period of the station's history (plus much more) in the 'Community Radio, The Noosa Story, 20/20 Hindsight' by Andrew Tucker and Brian Panisset.
