TUESDAY:  CLOP POP 6 - 8 pm with Chloe
DRIVE FRIDAY: 4 - 6 pm with Chloe

Hey hey, I am Chloe, and moved up from Sydney to Noosa. I am 23 and enjoy pop music, pop culture,
and my favourite thing is listening to the radio.

I was 9 years when I was first on radio on a Sydney AM station and I answered the correct answer
in a competition about the deadliest spider in the world. I was the winner, because,
I knew it was the Brazilian Wandering Spider and to my glory, I won a Human Nature CD.
All my family was so proud of me and ever since then I wanted to be a radio presenter so I could give some winner a CD too.

Now, I am here at Noosa FM and I can say “I am on the radio you know!”

Thursdays Brekky 6 - 9 am

Born and bred in southeast Queensland.
Hailing from the Darling Downs (so a bit of country may slip in!) with a long career in aviation and tourism I’m now living back on the coast and loving it and being part of the Noosa FM team presenting the Thursday Breakfast program.

I’ve a pretty wide taste in music and want to present you with “Classic Hits With A Folk Rock Twist”.

There’ll be music to sing along to loudly in your car as well as a few off-beat surprises and new music. I’ll bring TMR live traffic update to you whilst keeping the show upbeat and for a smooth and safe drive.

"JAZZ LESS ORDINARY" with Floyd Sundays 2 – 5 PM
I’ve been around the world and I, I, I (apologies to Lisa Stansfield!) ….. ended up in Noosa 3 years ago. I’m from New Orleans, LA where music and rhythm are in the blood. I’ve been a soul/jazz fan from when I was knee high to a grasshopper – try convincing your uni friends that Sun Goddess by Ramsey Lewis is to be preferred to literally any track by [insert virtually any rock band you can think of]!! I’m here to share my love and passion for the music that transports me in the hope that it will transport you, too, to wherever you want to go.

Check out my program "Jazz Less Ordinary" on Sundays from 2 PM - 5 PM where I play Nu Jazz, Acid Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Nu Bossa and Brazilian Grooves, Neo Soul, Downtempo and Afro Beats.  In short, music to move the mind, move the body, move the soul.

The Millennium Scene with Reuben Cosgrove

Tuesday  8 pm - 10 pm:

My program, The Millennium Scene, showcases music from all the sub-genres that have sprung up around punk and metal over the past three decades. From ska-punk to thrashcore to Midwest emo and everything in between, it explores the surprising diversity of the modern rock scene.

I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast all my life. For more than half of that, I’ve had a fascination with music, learning about musical theory from a young age. I attribute most of my musical taste to the early 2000s video games I played as a child, with soundtracks that led me to discover punk legends like Less Than Jake and NOFX. I don’t often get the opportunity to share my musical tastes with like-minded people, so having a radio show was a perfect opportunity to do that on a larger scale. In recent years, I’ve also put my hand at writing songs myself.

REELIN' IN THE YEARS: Thursday 6  -  8 pm

‘’Growing up in the US in the early 60’s in Detroit and then Coastal Florida was a brilliant intro into both Motown, Soul and R&B and then Southern Rock and the laid-back Jimmy Buffett beach lifestyle.

Fortunately, being raised in a house where the radio and  music and banter never stopped, records, 8-tracks and  radio were the staple ingredient of most meals, most days and every party.

Arriving in Australia in 1978, and living around the Coast Hinterland and Noosa since the early 80’s means  the  parties, cookouts and beach music have never ended.

My program Reelin’ in the Years is a weekly music and lifestyle magazine of 2 hours  Thursday nights from 6 pm of the tracks and stories of our lives….if you can remember the tunes and how good the times were in the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s you’ll probably get our groove.

Along with the stories and legends behind the albums and artists, I’ll be joined by a  motley band of friends and minstrels dropping in for a chat about local artists and events & gigs,  good food & wine, great alfresco recipes and travels off the beaten track and even some live cooking and music from time to time.

Looking forward to sharing the good times with you…see you Thursday nights .’’

ULTRA CULCHA: Friday 9 am – 12 pm
"NOOSA WOMEN'S COLLECTIVE": Thursday 2 - 4 pm

With a father who was trumpeter & a radio twiddler (and an expert at playing the spoons and the comb). And a Grandmother who was an opera singer and swing time piano player at the local village pub there was no other direction for me to follow but music and theatre.

As a child I would sit with my father in his workshop and we would play with his old bakerlite radio which had short wave on it and we could listen to radio from all over the world. I thought it amazing as a 12 year old that we could hear live music being played from thousands of miles away through the power of the air waves. This began my love of radio.

I became involved in community radio when I moved to the Blue Mountains in the early 90’s and was involved in the station for many years. I presented “Berrocka Brunch” every Saturday for a decade and I loved every note of it. This led me into community festivals and other wonderful performing genres that live on the edge of the arts sphere.

THE WAVE: From late til light and 7 nights a week;
SATURDAY "SPOTLIGHT" with Noosa FM : Saturday   7 - 9 pm;
BREAKFAST on Noosa FM: Monday - Wednesday 6 - 9 am

Music from the tranny to the sound cloud is the selection on THE WAVE, the new revamped NOOSA FM overnight program. Much has changed technically over the years but the one beautiful constant in everyone's lives remains - the magic of music. THE WAVE is blended to evoke the senses of your wonderful memories; the sights, sounds, scents and feelings of your very personal space in time. Music is constantly being updated and refreshed. You'll hear recent releases from old favourites and our world class Sunshine Coast artists and bands; another very important community objective of THE WAVE.

Most of my working life was spent promoting the visual arts by day and the performing arts at night and weekends. A love for community radio grew from several years as an on-air presenter and producer on Perth radio. Now I have the best job in the world; caring for the extensive music library at NOOSA FM, built and maintained by the dedicated volunteers at the station since its inception.

I'm privileged and proud to extend the commitment to good music, variety and entertainment from our very talented day/night presenters into the wee small hours and hope you'll join us on THE WAVE, all night, every night on your wavelength 101.3.

"What would our world be without animals and pets? Thank God for them."

I have been with NOOSA FM since early 2016, starting at reception getting to know our Community Station's ins and outs and all the great people. In May 2017, I undertook at 3 months training to became a presenter with NOOSA FM.

With Pet-Purri, I bring you great music, and of course, we talk dogs and all things pet. Dogs are a big part of our society and in our families and homes. Whether as companion, servicing as assistant dog for special needs persons, for sick or lonely people, as rescue, guarding or sniffer dogs. There is so many areas where we employ dogs nowadays. No other being has put up with us for so many thousands of years developing relentlessly into servicing our requirements.

I like to bring community issues around dogs to our attention as well as introducing breeds, handling, feeding and exercising our loyal friends.

There are many community based charities and organizations that care about dogs and their owners, my program introduces them to you and will keep you up-to-date with their doings.  And of course, I will talk about cats, birds and other animals, our dogs friends in our homes and environment.

Lost your pet? Call us we can put a search on-air...

Write to me about your pet by sending an email to reception@noosafm.org. I am looking forward hearing from you and all about your pets.

THURSDAY DRIVE: Thursday 4 PM - 6 PM

Noosa is the best place in the world and it is hard to beat playing some good music on the radio here.

I’ve been a visitor to Noosa since before I could walk so moving here permanently a few years ago was the only sensible thing to do.

I have always had an interest in music and the media so when the chance came up to do the presenters course I jumped at it.

My other interests include cycling, swimming, triathlon, surfing and travel.

Mike & Megan Breid began presenting at NOOSA FM in October of 2014. They each had their own show – 'The Captain', Sailing Through the Years, and 'Nutmeg', Tonic for your Brain, for several programming blocks. The Programming committee then suggested that they join forces for a breakfast show and the rest – as they say – is history. M'n'Ms for Breakfast and Drive was born and the two found they really enjoy working together.

Having had a bit of a break to star in several movies they will accompany you on some programs to help relieving their colleague presenters.  Bringing entertainment and an eclectic mix of music with commentary and a little bit of mayhem thrown in for good measure.

MONDAY DRIVE: Monday 4 pm - 6 pm

Born in Munich, Germany, I have lived in Sydney for 55 years before moving to Noosaville in 2015 with my wife to be near family.

I have been retired from the Graphic Arts/Printing Industry for some years now.
My lifelong love of music, in particular Blues and Jazz, prompted me to undergo the Presenter’s Course at NOOSA FM.

My lack of any great talent as a musician (I do dabble in guitar!) allows me to at least play and share my vast collection of CDs with an audience (I hope).

My show consists of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Soul and R&B, although not necessarily restricted to those genres in a pure sense.

TUESDAY JAZZ: Tuesday 12 pm - 2 pm

John has been a weekend resident of Noosa since 1985 and now lives here permanently. He’s always had a love of jazz music and with his radio and television background it was an obvious move to join the ranks of NOOSA FM.

He’s spent the past 44 years working in broadcast media, starting in radio with the Colour Radio Network through Queensland and 4BK and 4KQ in Brisbane. In 1980 he joined the Nine network taking on his best known role as weather man.

He moved to the Seven network in 2007 retiring from full time duties last year.

His program 'Tuesday Jazz' covers a wide range of styles with most of the music sourced from the fifties through to the latest releases. Because jazz is such a diverse complex genre of music, John likes to keep it user friendly, hopefully bringing new listeners to the station.

MID WEEK: Wednesday 9 am - 12 pm

The program first appeared on NOOSA FM in July 2012 with an hour in the Breakfast time slot, and another in the Magazine slot, providing a wake-up pace between 8 and 9 am, followed by a more relaxed tone from 9 to 10 am featuring commentary, music, interviews and humour, with News and Weather reports.

In the Tyler family, Len’s older brother was involved in theatre as a producer, Director, Adjudicator and Actor, and his younger brother worked in Radio and Television, both On-Air and in Management, so it was hardly surprising that when the very young Leonard came home from school he could barely wait to turn on the Radio.

Later as a young adult, he worked in Radio in Papua New Guinea and Tasmania before changing to a corporate career in the Information and Communications Technology industry.

Len’s interests have always been diverse and also include computers, photography, music, broadcasting, boating, politics, travel, theatre, the environment and reading.

NOOSA FM always been the perfect conduit for Len to expand on those interests amidst the myriad of diversity and talent that contributes to such fascinating Radio listening for all Noosans.

You are warmly invited to join Len for 'Mid Week' on NOOSA FM.

Pirate Radio:   Saturday 10 am - 12 pm

Chris comes from a background in film production, having produced music clips for many well-known acts from Daddy Cool to Jimmy Barnes as well as his classic cult feature called ‘Oz – a Rock ‘n’ Roll Road Movie’. He's also a musician who has played in bands since he was a kid.

Chris also always wanted to be 'on-air'. Well now he is on air at NOOSA FM and before doing his 'Pirate Radio' music program on Saturday he hosted 'Breakfast with Chris' and the 'Magic Bus' - shows that support and celebrate both local and Australian music.

MUSICOLOGY: Saturday 2  - 5 PM

Long time collector of tunes from the  1960's through to present day, I am always looking for the next emerging artist across a wide spectrum of genres and styles. For me the vocal and lyrics are the focus, looking for character and originality. I am finding that the more mellow side of my collection gets the most airplay though I still love edgy rock and blues when in the right mood.

My show 'Musicology' ranges through a diverse and select collection of tunes across the years and genres mixing up folk, jazz, reggae, rock, blues, soul and pop. The focus tends to be contemporary and international, but home grown talent and blasts from the past always gets some airplay as do good cover versions. I am a huge fan of the Byron Bay Bluesfest with many past and present performers on my playlist.

DIGGIN' WITH DOUG: Friday 2 pm - 4 pm

Hey there, I came to OZ from Scotland way back on a professional soccer contract then later "took to the "skies" , flying with Qantas, Canadian and British Airlines taking me round the world to be followed by 9 more great years of world travel with Adnan Khashoggi on his luxury yachts and private aircraft. Having fronted my own Rock and Roll band earlier, I would jump up on stage and sing whenever I could in many different places.

Later after turning down two offers to work for Ozzie Tycoon Kerry Packer, I came to Noosa and NOOSA FM where, I have been doing my 'Diggin with Doug' Show, contentiously  for the last 20 years, 2 pm - 4 pm every Friday.  Music to 'Jump 'n' Jive' to help you come alive and get ready for the weekend. Original Rock 'n' Roll and Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues and much much more, with a bit of fun on the side.

Enjoy and thanks for listening.
